Matthieu will provide an intro to ML and walk you through Google's vast toolbox for machine learning and artificial intelligence, including Tensorflow, Datalab and Cloud ML Engine.
11:15 - 11:45 Machine Vision: The journey to success
Amir Hozez, VP R&D, Intsights
Insights has just concluded a journey - testing various open source and proprietary machine vision solutions for their fraud prevention application. Amir will share conclusions, tips and tricks.
11:45 - 12:30 Shallow introduction to deep learning
Eyal Gruss, Founder and Director of AI, Flatspace
In this non-technical talk, Eyal will explain what is deep learning and why is it the new "electricity". Most of the talk will be a review of the latest state-of-the-art applications of deep learning in computer vision.

14:00 - 14:45 UNICEF Ventures: Investing in Applied AI to solve the world’s toughest challenges
Christopher Fabian, Unicef Venures
UNICEF are funding and exploring the use of aritificiall intelligence for many use cases, such as mapping every school in the world, identifying nutriotion deficits through face recognition for nutrition poverty. Chritopher will UNICEF's AI practice and will also discuss issues with issues algorithmic equity and how to create AI that serves most vulnerable people.
14:45 - 15:30 Deep Learning for Medical Imaging
Elan Dekel, Group Product Manager, Google Research
Diabetic retinopathy is the fastest growing cause of preventable blindness, but there aren't enough opthalmologists to diagnose patients, especially in emerging markets. Elan Dekel will share how Google Research is using Deep Learning to enable the detection of Diabetic Retinopathy using Machine Vision.
15:30 - 16:15 AI in culture: How to make cool technology famous
Perry Nightingale, Executive Creative Technologist, Grey London
Perry Nightingale is executive creative technologist for Grey London, one of the world’s most awarded agencies. He’ll walk through the recent successful SwearJar app for a large UK charity that used Google Cloud Speech API to donate money when people swore. AI and Branded Innovation are now powerful marketing tools for the world’s biggest companies so Perry will demystify these new channels and reveal some of the latest research going on in the agency.
